Mineral Moon reveals the Moon's surface, not as a natural gray, but as a landscape rich with subtle color and texture. Through careful processing, natural variations in the lunar surface become visible, tracing the Moon's geological history across maria, highlands and impact basins.
The delicate hues seen here arise from differences in mineral composition, formed by ancient volcanic activity and billions of years of bombardment. while these colors are invisible to the naked eye at the eyepiece, they exist within the data, waiting to be revealed. This image presents the Moon as both a familiar companion and a dynamic evolving world, - quietly complex and shaped by deep time.

Paper prints ship at a flat rate of $16 within the United States. Metal and CODA prints ship with complimentary domestic delivery.
