Cinematic Cosmos
The Cinematic Cosmos series explores what it might feel like to travel through the most iconic structures of our universe.
Each piece is rooted in real astrophotography, captured across nights of observation and processing, then combined with photographs of a fully illuminated 1:350 scale Enterprise miniature. These are not digital renderings, but constructed scenes: where physical light, real cosmic structures, and perspective come together to create a sense of motion, scale, and exploration. Familiar regions - like the Horsehead Nebula near Alnitak, or the Pillars of Creation within the Eagle Nebula - are reimagined not as distant objects, but as destinations.
The result is a body of work that sits between science and imagination - inviting you to consider not just what the universe looks like, but what it might feel like to move through it.
Real places. Imagined journeys.
