Crossing the Silent Disc records a fleeting alignment between the human and the cosmic — a commercial aircraft crossing the face of the Moon at precisely the right moment, scale, and distance.
During the Supermoon of 2018, a commercial aircraft crossed the lunar surface at precisely the right instant, silhouetted against the Moon's illuminated disk. Unaware of the capture at the time, the aircraft's passage was only later discovered during image review, revealing a moment that lasted less than a fraction of a second. This image represents the intersection of human movement and celestial scale where everyday travel briefly intersects the vastness of space.

Paper prints ship at a flat rate of $16 within the United States. Metal and CODA prints ship with complimentary domestic delivery.
